Riverless Successes

2010 Phillipsburg Riverless Festival

The Riverless Festival in Phillipsburg this year (2010) was a success on many fronts. We formed a "Walking/Running Club" to prepare for the Riverless Fun Run which was a 2 mile and 5 mile run/walk.Coached by Dr. Kian, participants included Wes Hall, Cheryl Hall, Jackie Pearson, Dr. Hamed Kian, Sheila Niblock, and Donna Gitchel.

Jackie Pearson came in last, which was a great accomplishment. A year ago she wasn't capable of finishing the race at all. By working with all three doctors at The Chiropractic Clinics, Jackie managed to complete the 2 mile Fun Walk (she's not running yet).  Although she came in last Jackie said, "Now I feel like I have a future and can actually get better." As part of the Riverless Festival, we gave away sports bottles filled with lemonade and we had a drawing for a charcoal grill, camp chairs, and a cooler full of meat. The winner of the Drawing was Gina Peak.

Gina came to chiropractic because she fell about 12 years ago when she was pregnant. She hurt her ribs pretty severely, but her doctors were unable to help her very much. After 5 years went by, Dr. Dustin Cheney opened the Phillipsburg Chiropractic Center, and Gina decided to give him a try.

It took quite a few adjustments, but the problem went away. Now she brings her whole family to be treated. "I really like Dr. Cheney. He has a good personality and just makes me feel comfortable."
